Title: Park County Public Library-Guffey Branch Internal Connections (IC)
Project Dates: Starting July 1, 2020 or upon receipt of affirmative Funding Decision Letter from USAC, whichever is later, with project completion by no later than June 30, 2021.

Description: Park County Public Library-Guffey Branch solicits bids for Internal Connections for Guffey Library public-access network to include:
Wiring—Total re-wiring to ensure 1G capability from appliance to desktop. Wiring would be inclusive of running of all required CAT6 cabling, termination of all cabling in the designated consolidation point to a labeled panel or panels as necessary, and termination at end-user locations to conveniently located wall jacks/port-boxes capable of servicing nearby existing systems and providing connectivity for additional devices. This cabling must include cabling for 2 ports at each existing connection and identified expansion sites, cabling for wireless access points, and cabling for network appliances.
Conduit—Any cabling that cannot be run/terminated inside internal walls would require appropriate and aesthetically acceptable raceways.
Routers/Switches/Firewalls: All patron systems, Wireless APs, and personally owned wireless devices to be separated from Park County LAN and isolated on Guffey Library public-access network requiring its own networking appliances. To accommodate existing infrastructure, a switch is necessary for this project. A basic Firewall, Cisco ASA 5506 (or equivalent) is required.
Guffey Library is located at 1625B County Rd 102 in Guffey, Colorado 80820, County of Park.
Evaluation: The following factors serve as evaluation criteria:
1) General background of the firm including current service references with reference contact information in Park County. 2) Available project materials, resources and range of services including tech support for materials in this Internal Connections phase of the project. 3) Competitive pricing to comprehensively complete the Internal Connections phase of project. 4) Proven ability to cooperate and collaborate with provider of Managed Internal Broadband Services phase of this project. 5) Ability to complete project prior to 6/30/2021 in order for Managed Internal Broadband Services to have an adequate window to complete their project phase by 6/30/2021. Further, it is understood that this project is contingent upon approval of funding from the Universal Service Fund’s School and Libraries Program, otherwise known as E-rate.
Submissions: Bids must be submitted by mail (Park County Public Libraries, PO Box 592, Fairplay, CO 80440) or electronically () by March 23, 2020, 5pm. Bids will be reviewed and IC vendor will be chosen by March 24, 2020.
