Park County, CO – As of 6 PM, the 403 wildfire has reached 1,286 acres with 25 percent containment. Reminder, Park County evacuations remain in place until further notice. Evacuated residents, please call 719-836-4200 for updates. The emergency shelter location is the Lake George Community Center located at 39141 US Highway 24, Lake George, CO 80827. If overnight sheltering is needed afterhours (5 PM or before 8 AM) please contact is David Kintz at 719-836-5552.
The county is in a Red Flag Warning and Stage 1 Burn Ban until 8 PM tonight and will continue tomorrow, Sunday April 2, 2023, from 11 AM until 8 PM.
