Park County Vaccine Rates Surpass 40 percent and New Clinics Announced
Park County, Colo. – Park County has reached a major milestone: over 40 percent of our eligible population is now protected from COVID19 by being fully vaccinated. This good news comes as evidence shows that counties with higher vaccination rates, are experiencing lower new cases in Colorado.
And according to the state’s public health officials, the danger is greater than ever for people who haven’t completed the vaccine sequence. The delta variant is about 50% more contagious than previous variants and twice as likely to require hospitalization, which currently is the most-common version of the virus in Colorado.
