Park County COVID19 Testing Update
Park County, Colo. — Park County Public Health (PCPH) will resume COVID19 testing in Bailey on Monday Feb. 22 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Bailey Public Library, 350 Bulldogger Lane, Bailey, CO 80421. Testing will continue every Monday at this location with our new partner, COVIDCheck Colorado, who offers a highly sensitive and reliable nasal swab PCR test that is administered by licensed medical professionals.
Testing is free, fast and available to symptomatic and asymptomatic participants. To ensure a smooth and quick visit, please schedule an appointment.
“Park County is pleased to offer residents a convenient testing option,” said Lynn Ramey, Director of PCPH. “While we’re seeing positive trends in our efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID19, we know that accurate, widespread testing is critical to reducing COVID-19 transmission and outbreaks.”
In partnership with the State of Colorado, COVIDCheck Colorado, a social benefit enterprise of Gary Community Investments, is providing COVID-19 tests free of charge to all Coloradans. In addition to the Bailey Library, COVIDCheck sites operate across the state Monday through Saturday. Locations and hours can be found here (https://covidcheckcolorado.org/where-to-test/)
PCPH continues to encourage all Park County residents to do what we know works to prevent the spread of this virus: wear a mask in public, practice physical distancing, wash hands regularly and avoid large gatherings.
