The fire has burned 1400 acres with 0% containment. There 4 -5 structures burned in Teller County. A shelter has been opened at Florissant Fire Station and Cripple Creek Victor School District RE1. Voluntary evacuations are in place for Doe Valley and Park Ridge subdivisions in Park County. Residents are encouraged to remove livestock and pets out of the area, and to prepare for a full evacuation. Evacuations are voluntary for Doe Valley and Park Ridge, but residents are encouraged to leave if concerned.

The evacuation point is Cripple Creek-Victor High School at 410 North B Street. Livestock may be taken to Teller County Fair Grounds, located on Teller County Road #1, on the northwest side of Cripple Creek.
