Wildfire Update

Evacuations are mandatory and entry to evacuated area may be denied.  Residents are encouraged to evacuate as soon as possible.  You may have time to gather necessary items, but do so at your own risk. 

The fire has burned 1400 acres with 0% containment.  A shelter has been opened at Florissant Fire Station and Cripple Creek Victor School District RE1.  Voluntary evacuations are in place for Doe Valley and Park Ridge subdivisions in Park County.  Residents are encouraged to remove livestock and pets out of the area, and to prepare for a full evacuation.  Evacuations are voluntary for Doe Valley and Park Ridge, but residents are encouraged to leave if concerned.

Chateau Fire - Wildland Fire SW of Divide, S of Florissant, and NE of Guffy in Teller County moving into Park County.

The evacuation point is Cripple Creek-Victor High School at 410 North B Street.  Livestock may be taken to Teller County Fair Grounds, located on Teller County Road #1, on the northwest side of Cripple Creek.
