[ARCHIVED] Press Release - All Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Procession

Corporal Nate Carrigan

The procession for Corporal Nate Carrigan is for the Carrigan family and Emergency Vehicles only. The public may safely line the streets or overpasses to show their support but will not be allowed in the procession itself.

The Memorial Service honoring fallen Park County Corporal Nate Carrigan will be on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at 1100 hours. The event will be held at the Faith Bible Chapel which is located at 6210 Ward Road, Arvada, CO 80004.

All law enforcement and emergency services personnel are invited to attend this event and/or participate in a procession to the church. If your agency decides to participate in the procession, please arrive no later than 0830 hours at Bandimere Speedway East Parking lot, 3051 S Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO 80465. When on location, the contact will be CSP Major Josh Downing and CSP Major Steve Garcia. We will provide procession information and instruction. The procession participants will be using MAC 3 for radio communication. The procession will leave the parking lot onto southbound Rooney Road and end at the church.

Please note, once the family arrives at the church and while they are unloading, there will be multiple Honor Guard movements. While this is being done, there will be a call for all vehicle engines to be turned off until the family is inside the church. We will park after the movements.

All other law enforcement, emergency services and military personnel attending the Memorial Service are asked to be on site at Faith Bible Chapel no later than 1000 hours. Upon arrival at the church, you will be directed to park by Arvada PD or other law enforcement personnel.

If your agency is planning to be involved in the procession, please RSVP with the CSP contact, Captain David Aldridge at David.Aldridge@state.co.us to provide an approximate number of attendees by 1700 hours on Friday March 11th, 2016.

Thank you for your support to Park County and the family of Corporal Nate Carrigan.
