A Voter Service and Polling Center (“Service Center”) is a one-stop shop for voters to register to vote, cast a mail ballot, receive a replacement ballot or receive any other election-related service.
There are two proposed Service Center locations in Park County for the election this year – Fairplay Clerk & Recorder’s Office and Bailey Clerk & Recorder’s Office.
“The two proposed Service Centers are conveniently located for the county and we feel they will best serve the voters in Park County,” said Clerk and Recorder Debbi Green. “However, we feel it is important to gauge public sentiment and take suggestions from voters about other locations,” she added.
The Clerk and Recorder’s Office will be receiving public input regarding suggested locations for Voter Service and Polling Centers from August 5, 2013 through August 14, 2013. Comments and suggestions may be submitted by email to sbalicki@parkco.us by phone at (719) 836-4333, or by delivering written comments to the Fairplay Clerk & Recorders Office, 501 Main Street, Fairplay CO 80440.
