DISTRIBUTION OF SPECIAL FOREST RESERVE TITLE III FUNDS

Letters of interest from agencies with eligible uses for distribution of special Forest Reserve Title III funds have been submitted to and reviewed by the Park County Board of County Commissioners for distribution in the year 2023. The proposed distributions are for search and rescue operations, emergency services and law enforcement patrols on Forest Service lands. The amount of the Title III funds for distribution is $20,359.85 and will be distributed as follows: $19,000 to Park County Search and Rescue for costs related to training certifications and equipment replacement; and $1,359.85 to Park County related to emergency services and/or law enforcement patrols on Forest Service lands.
