About 1.6 miles of Tarryall Creek winds through the Lazy River Ranch which supports a wild trout fishery, as well as high quality riparian and wetland habitat. The ranch is currently leased to Rocky Mountain Angling Club for member-only fishing.
Restoration goals on the property consisted of improved bank protection, riparian vegetation, stream stability, fish habitat, water quality, fishing and aesthetics.
Funding for the Lazy River Ranch habitat project was provided in part by the Park County Land & Water Trust Fund.
