As of March 19, 2014 any Concealed Handgun Permit holder must apply for a new permit, or renew their permit in the county where they reside.
Within 120 days prior to expiration of a permit, the permittee may schedule an appointment to begin the renewal process.
A permittee who fails to file a renewal form on or before the permit expiration date may renew the permit by paying a late fee of $15 in addition to the renewal fee, for a total payment of $65.
No permit shall be renewed 6 months or more after its expiration date, and the permit shall be deemed to have permanently expired.
Please plan for your appointment to take about 15 minutes to complete the following:
- Acceptance of fees:
- $50 in the form of cash, check or money order made out to PCSO (Park County Sheriff's Office)
- Separate payment of $13 in the form of cash or check made out to PCSO (Park County Sheriff's Office).
- Sign and submittal of application (PDF)
- Copy made of your driver's license, Colorado ID, Military ID, and/or deed showing property ownership in Park County
- New photo taken
