THIRTY-ONE MILE RANCH - BARN, WINDMILL & LOG CABIN

539 Badger Lane
Park County Historic Landmarks - 8/12/1999
A very unusual style of barn for this part of the country, the circa 1925, gambrel-roofed, 3-story barn stands as a fine example of its type. The nearby windmill has been restored to its original condition and once served a 1920s ranch house that burned in the 1950s. The circa 1880s 2-room log cabin is believed to be the first residential building constructed on the property. It was subsequently used as a bunkhouse for the hired help on the ranch.
