Partisan Elections (Even-Numbered Years)

First-Time Voters

In order to register to vote, you must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Register to vote no later than 22 days before the election
  • Be 18 years old on or before the date of the election in which you want to vote
  • Reside in the state of Colorado at least 22 days before the election
  • Complete the fields marked required on the application, including your physical / mailing address

In order for first-time voters to vote by mail, Colorado law requires identification for first time voters by mail-in ballot. Types of approved ID may be found on the Secretary of State's Website. You may also contact your County Clerk and Recorder's Office for information at 719-836-4223.

Mail Ballot

All Voters that are affiliated with a major party will now receive a mail ballot.

  • The last day for voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in a different party's primary election is 30 days before election.
    • In order to participate in the primary election, unaffiliated voters may affiliate at any time before and through the day of the primary election.

Election Day Voting

On election day in even years, you may vote on touch screens or paper ballot at one of Park County's convenient Vote Center sites. Learn more about our Voting System.
