I have a life threatening emergency and I can't get out on the County roads -- what do I do?
If you have a life threatening situation please call 911, for all other issues please call our comment line (719) 836-4291.

How are funds for Road and Bridge obtained?
Road and Bridge receives very little funding form your property taxes. Currently Road and Bridge receives approximately $3.25 from each piece of property in the County. Road and Bridge receives the majority of its funding from Highway User Tax Funds (gasoline taxes).
