The purpose of this RFB is to select a contractor to construct a fiber network connecting government facilities in Fairplay, CO. The construction will include both Outside and Inside plant work, including but not limited to aerial, buried and bored fiber placement, building entrances, splicing and termination.. The project includes existing leased and owned facilities that will be spliced and integrated with the new construction as part of this project.
Bids may be submitted in person, via E-Mail, via US Mail, or via FedEx, UPS, or Courier. All submissions must be RECEIVED no later than 5:00 pm on October 13th, 2016. Submittals received after this deadline will not be reviewed.

Park County Government has released this RFB for 21 days beginning September 23rd, and will close the RFB on October 13th. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded on October 20th, 2016.
Park County Government requires that you submit a fixed price bid or 'Not-to-exceed' bid. You are welcome to base your fixed price bid on your Bill of Materials costs, Labor costs, overhead, etc. Park County must have a single 'Not-to-Exceed' price for the work requested in order to award the contract to your organization.
Construction will begin ASAP. Contractor's ability to start sooner will be a factor in contractor selection. Park County's Broadband Project Manager and Field Inspector will supervise the selected Contractor's work.
A Pre-Bid meeting and project walk through will be held in Fairplay on September 30th at 1:00 pm in the BOCC Meeting Room at 501 Main Street, Fairplay, CO 80440. A conference bridge will be available for those not able to attend in person. A site visit / project walk through will be conducted following the meeting. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory for selection.
