shall receive sealed bids for Bid Package Work scope Contract Proposals as described in the Construction Documents Dated 4/07/10 .The project description of the Park County 911 Center is as follows:
The new Park County 911 Call Center shall be located on a one-acre hill site accessed from Castillo Ave in the town of Fairplay, Colorado. The project shall include site development for a single level 8550 SF building for a 911 dispatch, IT Data, and EOC Emergency Center.
The building facility shall include provisions for exterior and internal security for staff to work in the 911 Dispatch/IT Data Center. The general public shall have limited access to this facility.
On site parking, landscaping, and site drainage shall be included in the required project work.
Site-work shall include construction of a secured tower utility court for operational equipment.
Work-scope shall include, but is not limited to the following:
Site development including dirt work, utility services, drainage structures, paving and site features required. Landscaping shall include xeriscape-irrigated plantings and rock landscaping on exterior building elevations as indicated on drawings.
Building shell is non-combustible type 2B, B occupancy, 2006 International Building Code construction including lightweight load bearing cmu / cavity insulated/brick veneer exterior wall construction, steel post and beam framing system, insulated standing seam metal roof.
The interior tenant finish shall include light gage metal stud framing, drywall partitioning, painting, atc/gdw ceiling finishes. Prebuilt cabinets, casework, millwork, floor and special wall finishes as indicated on drawings.
Building HVAC zoned units and computer room air conditioning unit shall be furnished and installed for the computer data center.
Building plumbing shall be furnished and installed for locker/public restrooms and break rooms in the facility.
The building shall be protected by an automatic wet fire sprinkler system including provisions for a dry clean suppression system for the data center, and a preaction delay for the dispatch center.
The electrical work-scope shall include provisions for power, lighting, low voltage life safety (FSD), communication, security systems. Emergency power generator, backup UPS, systems wiring for special use 911 Dispatch area, IT Data, and Emergency Operations Center are also included in the work-scope.
All bids shall be submitted on Bid Package Bid Forms as provided by Bley Associates, Architects/CM. All bids shall clearly indicate the number(s) of bid packages that are included in the bid.

Copies of the construction documents may be obtained at the office of the architect in accord with the Instructions to Bidders for a refundable deposit of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars for one (1) set of documents. Documents shall also be available in Fairplay, Co. at the Park County Fairgrounds building at the date of distribution and the Pre Bid Conference date as scheduled. Construction Documents shall also be distributed at the Dodge Plan Room in Denver, Co. and the Builders Exchange in Fort Collins, CO

A pre bid conference shall be held April 16, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Park County fairgrounds building adjacent to the project site for interested contractors.
Park County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interest of the Board and of the County of Park, State of Colorado.
