Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Emergency Management is to:
  • Develop a program to prepare for, respond to, and recover from large-scale emergencies in Park County
  • Educate the public about emergency response and mitigation strategies in order to save lives and property

Hazard Mitigation Plan Update
This plan has been in development by the Park County Emergency Management Department, Tetra Tech EM Inc. of Denver and the Park County Steering committee since April 2013. It will now be presented to the BOCC and the public for review.
