Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) and Medicaid
Colorado Medicaid offers health coverage for qualifying children, pregnant women and families. Medicaid also provides coverage for dental care for children. Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) offers health and dental care coverage for uninsured Colorado children and youth. CHP+ also offers health care for pregnant women that do not qualify for Medicaid. Applications for these programs are available at Park County Department of Human Services. You may contact Human Services at (719) 836-4144. Enrollment can also be done online at Colorado PEAK. Computers to use for enrolling in these program are available at both public health offices and Park County public libraries.
If you are enrolled in Medicaid you may also contact Community Care Central Colorado, the RCCO (Regional Care Collaborative), for Park County at (303) 866-3513 or (800) 221-9343. If you are a RCCO member, you will have help finding doctors including specialists, and community and social services in your area.
